Meet the Staff

Kath and Jonathan

kath_jonathanKath qualified as a veterinary surgeon from Onderstepoort in South Africa in 1996. She ran busy first opinion small animal practices in Lincolnshire and West Sussex before returning to South Africa in 2005. Whilst in South Africa, Jon and Kath welcomed Hannah and Thomas into their family. Kath continued to work as a small animal vet but only on a part time basis. Kath has a deep love for all small animals in particular dogs and cats and you can be assured your pet will get lots of love and cuddles whilst under her care.

Jon has a BSc in Business information systems and will be managing and running the business side of the kennels. He will be making sure that the kennels and cattery infrastructure is maintained to a high standard as well. He will also help in taking care of our boarders.

Kath and Jon have travelled all over the world with their pets. Their two cats, Nelly and Jazmine both 15 years old, and Boris the African Grey are all experienced travellers and have lived in Spain, France, South Africa and of course the UK. Their two young dogs, Harry and Bertie, have travelled from South Africa across France before moving in the UK.

Kerry

Creusa_361Kerry has worked with animals for over 14 years. She began her career as a work experience, which  in turn lead to a part time job whilst she studied for her National Diploma in Animal Care. After completing her course Kerry began working full time.

Kerry worked for a while at a Great Dane breeding kennels at Althorpe in Northampton for 2 years, but her true love was Cornwall. She relocated to Cornwall in 2001, and took up a position at Creusa Kennels. Kerry has now been with Creusa for 10 years.

Kerry lives in Perranporth with ‘Oska’, a border Terrier and ‘Mavis’, a border x Lakeland terrier, who are inseparable. ‘George’, Kerry’s black cat, completes her menagerie. All three pets love to play, sleep and go for walks together, although George doesn’t like sand inbetween his toes much!

Kerry enjoys playing the piano and the saxophone in her spare time.

Liam really enjoys working at Creusa and is a great new addition to our team of carers.

STANLEY

IMG_1850_bStanley joined our team in mid 2011 after his previous owner was moving house and could not take him with them. He is a goregous boy who has made the staff room his home. His job is to sit on the first available lap at tea, lunch or afternoon break and demand fuss and love. He is quite at home around dogs and enjoys a stroll past the kennels to wind up any dogs he can find. He also loves to cause us immense distress at closing time by hiding under the bushes so that he  cant be locked in his bedroom at night.
